Days that children and young people have spent out of care upon completion of the intervention
We monitor the trajectory of families we work with starting from the point of completion of the intervention. The key metric is the number of days that the young person remains out of care during the "tracking period" (two years upon completion). Taking the conservative assumption of an average of £108 cost of care per day, this amounts to a total cost avoided of £6.9m
